Job Description

As a Senior Marketing Executive for Trader Media Group, you will report directly into the Head of B2B Marketing and take responsibility for delivering the strategy for Auto Trader and non-car related products and services.

You will work closely with the Head of B2B Marketing to deliver the Auto Trader and non-car plan, and will hold responsibility for the delivery of all activities related to Auto Trader and non-car, including providing regular analysis to maximise and improve response to marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Using a test, learn and refine process to manage Auto Trader and non-car campaigns to generate leads using online and offline comms
• Identify and develop marketing campaigns to support Auto Trader and non-car and retain our market leading presence
• Working with the Market Research team to develop data insights to increase sales in digital marketing, mobile and tablet
• Marketing various events, product enhancements and launches to support profile of DMS, businesses, services and people
• Delivery of BAU plans to support the sales teams in selling digital marketing, mobile and tablet products and services
• Shape and implement communications to dealers including clear segmentation to maximise ROI
• Support existing products and services: aligning activity to the businesses commercial plan
• Management of budgets
• Management of stakeholder expectations including providing regular campaign reporting
• Monitor and measure marketing campaigns providing clear analysis to the overall DMS team

Candidate Requirements

The successful candidate into this role will be a proven Senior Marketing Executive, with a thorough understanding of digital marketing. You will have exceptional stakeholder management skills, and will ideally have some previous man-management experience, though this is not essential. In addition, you will have the following key skills and experience:

• Excellent understanding of commercial businesses
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills
• Proven in management of campaigns
• Proven in measuring and analysing successful campaigns and reporting back
• Excellent experience in creating and delivering presentations to communicate plans/opinion
• A proven understanding of CMS systems and email management tools
• A proven understanding of SEO and Social Media
• Good financial acumen and solid experience of putting together budgets
• Experience within Agency or Client side business
• Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point
• Understanding of the full range of marketing communications including the AIDA model
• Understanding of Automotive industry is preferred
• Educated to a degree standard or equivalent standard in Marketing or Business
