Job Description

We’re EE and we’re here on a mission: to show everyone in the UK how the magic of technology can make the everyday better. And as more and more of our customers choose to deal with us through various digital channels, our e-commerce team will have an ever more important role to play.

Increasingly, the way customers interact with EE sites defines their relationship with us. In this key role, you’ll help set our entire UX vision for these sites, manage and develop the information architecture behind them and develop the customer’s journey through them. It’s a far-reaching challenge that will see you working with everyone from design specialists (so your solutions are ready for development) to sales and marketing (so you understand their commercial implications).

Candidate Requirements

Your experience in a similar blue-chip UX role - creating sitemaps, flow diagrams, wireframes and functional specifications - will have sharpened both your practical skills and your knowledge of the principles around user friendly web design. From a technical standpoint, we’ll be looking for a good command of the usual technologies like Axure Pro, Visio, HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript. But just important will be your sharp attention to detail and your ability to juggle multiple projects.
