Job Description

A nationally acclaimed E-Commerce software and services company, is seeking a Director of Product and Services. The organisation has a huge online presence with an impressive client roster and is highly regarded thought its field.

Reporting direct to the board, the successful candidate will become responsible for managing and growing the companies product and service proposition. This includes implementing the product development strategy, including a complex multi channel retail software product and a number of additional value added services.

This role is a hands on management position, and includes a number of direct reports including other senior managers and, development, support staff and product management teams.

Responsibilities Include:

Team Management - Lead and mentor a diverse team of approximately 30 staff (based in multiple locations). Including team training and development, target and KPI setting and performance reviews, targets and KPIs.

Product vision - Working closely and progressively with the sales and marketing team to develop and deliver the commercial product and services roadmap.

Introduction of new services - As part of ambitious growth plans the successful candidate will be responsible for defining the scope, development and delivery of new services.

Maintain product quality - Quality is the companies highest priority. Maintaining and driving our already high standards is a key part of this role.

Stakeholder management - Managing and communicating with the companies partners, customers, staff and the board. Joining up the product strategy with the business objectives.

Candidate Requirements

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, with a strong background in IT management, and proven product and service development and delivery management.

Broad experience of leading a diverse teams in a technically demanding, customer focused environment (customer insight, customer strategy, customer analysis).

Demonstrated capability in launching, scaling and transforming products and services.
