Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced .Net, SQL Server Developer to take a lead role in developing new applications and for supporting and maintaining existing key business applications. You will be working in a small but well developed team working on some exciting projects.

Current applications used VB & C# .Net, SQL Server 2008 using stored procedures, ASP.Net, Web forms and are written using OO methodology. The software is well documented and commented to aid maintenance.

Reporting to the Technical Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of the key business applications, including database, business rules layer and the user interface. You will also be responsible for the whole development lifecycle from analysis and design through to testing and then maintenance and support.

The successful candidate will be innovative, keen and very good at extracting requirements and planning and delivering solutions to business and software problems.

You must have extensive experience of:-

VB.Net or C#.Net
ASP.Net
MVC (preferred)
MS SQL Server 2005
Stored Procedures
Object Oriented development methods
Visual Studio
ASP.Net
