Customer Insight Analyst (Retail Sales)
To provide analysis and reports that turn data into meaningful insight, ensuring insight along with relevant recommendations are effectively communicated to the appropriate areas of the business
Analyse retail sales & customer data from a range of sources to measure the impact of retail sales training and marketing campaigns.
Analysis of the complex interactions across a wide section of channels including Online, Telephony, Direct Mail and Retail in order to drive forecasting and targeting recommendations.
Build branch targeting models to assess potential of branch sales, utilising historical performance, trends, large sets of customer and geo-demographic data.
Analyse and communicate results of marketing & sales campaigns to senior stakeholders, external partners and relevant members of the Sun Life Direct team.
Produce ad hoc reporting and analysis as required, often to tight deadlines.
Enhance existing Management Information reports ensuring that reports meet stakeholder requirements.
Work closely with all areas within the marketing distribution team and also with other areas of the business on the development and implementation of key projects.
A strong background in a hands-on customer insight and analytics environment, with experience of undertaking complex customer analysis to identify trends and make recommendations for marketing and sales strategies.
Experience analysing Retail Sales data, alongside large customer & geo-demograhic datasets to drive insight and recommendations
Proven experience using train of thought analysis tools, Business Reporting tools and / or SPSS/SAS
Good presentation and communication skills, with the ability to reason and justify recommendations.
Deadline and results orientated.
Proven hands-on analytical capability - able to turn data into meaningful insight
Degree educated in a relevant subject such as Mathematics or Statistics
