Job Description

• Devising and executing strategies to drive online traffic to meet forecasts
• Responsibility for planning and budgetary control of digital marketing budget
• Ensuring that E-Commerce marketing KPIs are met in line with forecast
• Developing, managing and optimising digital marketing campaigns including: PPC, SEO, Affiliate marketing, email marketing, social media, comparison site & data feed marketing
• Expanding and optimising our marketplace businesses with Amazon, eBay and Play
• Tracking of and assisting improvement of E-commerce conversion rate
• Evaluating and responding to customer feedback, market conditions and competitor activity
• Review new techniques and keep company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing

Expectations of Role

• Managing stakeholders, setting expectations, negotiating, prioritising work
• Allocating tasks to assistants and third parties to support the business needs
• Setting and delivery of daily and weekly target levels in line with agreed KPIs
• Liaising with all relevant internal and external third parties
• Encouraging and motivating colleagues
• Reporting to the Head of E-Commerce daily and weekly on agreed KPI’s.
• Ensuring problems are identified and communicated to the Head of E-Commerce in a timely fashion.

Candidate Requirements

• Six months supervisory experience in ecommerce, SEO, PPC, email marketing or affiliate marketing essential
• Experience in managing PPC, SEO and Affiliate programmes
• Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice
• Excellent administration and organisational skills
• Technical awareness
• Highly numerate, strong grasp of web-analytics (e.g. Google Analytics) and reports
• Perceptive to the needs of the business
• Flexible and can multi-task
• Accurate and possesses high attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work as part of team and also on own initiative
