Online Marketing Manager
About the role
We have been building our Digital teams in the National Trust to deliver online marketing to an increasingly connected public.
We are now looking to recruit an Online Marketing Manager on a 12 month contract as maternity cover, who can come in to build on our successful paid search, display and affiliate brand and direct response programmes. Working in an internal agency structure, with other digital and marketing teams to develop successful and innovative campaigns, integrated with the rest of our marketing and PR activity.
Our online marketing activity is managed and delivered in-house by a small team, which you will motivate and lead, to deliver exceptional campaigns including the new national brand campaign for 2013. And as the team is new part of the role will be the development of the processes and ways of working for the team.
With lots of previous experience in similar roles (ideally with a relevant qualification), you are an expert in media planning and buying and trafficking as well as analysing and optimising campaigns. You will be well-versed with devising and implementing paid search campaigns using both Google AdWords and Microsoft AdCenter. Other platforms you will be expert in are Google Display and Dart for Advertisers. Experienced with web analytics packages such as Adobe SiteCatalyst and Experian Hitwise would be useful.
You will be comfortable managing the media spend from a range of different budgets. An excellent communicator and brilliant people manager, you’re full of bright ideas, inspiring your team to produce outstanding results.
You will have a commercial mind and be able to identify new opportunities to deliver results. You will be able to lead and motivate the team as well as communicating with and enthusing stakeholders with different levels of knowledge and experience with digital.
You will have strong project management skills as well as being able to provide creative thinking along with the ability to analyse and act on the data and results.
