Job Description

Haymarket Media Group runs 20 industry-leading job sites,
which in total deliver over 400,000 unique users every
single month. As Search Marketing Executive you will
implement Search Marketing activity from strategy through
to delivery with the objective of increasing traffic and
conversions from the major search engines. Social media
now plays a key part of all our marketing roles and you
will use social channels as part of your activity.

Main responsibilities of the Search Marketing Executive

• Deliver and manage search marketing plans which
integrate Google PPC, SEO, Social Media, and
leading content aggregators and affiliates
• Ensure all search activities are closely is
aligned to each other, and the wider marketing
• Play an active day-to-day role in managing the
marketing team’s social media objectives
• Build relationships with third parties such as
digital agencies, content aggregators and affiliates
• Explore and present ways to scale search activity
across several brand websites
• Provide search insights for the management team
when considering new launches and business
• Monitor and report the impact of all activity
using various analytics tools
• Deliver insights via Google Analytics and
• Create, source and develop relevant content
where required
• Explore new channels to boost awareness and
rank/traffic (such as YouTube)

Candidate Requirements

As Search Marketing Executive you will possess:

• 2+ years’ experience in a similar role with
an agency or direct client
• Hands-on knowledge of building and running
campaigns in Google Adwords
• A proven track record of using SEO to
build rank and site conversions
• Demonstrable success in terms of traffic
conversions and roi
• Appreciation of search best practice and
recent algorithm updates
• An understanding of how to plug social
media activity into a wider marketing plan
• Good working knowledge of web analytics
software (such as Omniture, Analytics)

drive and ambition
