Job Description

Evans’ online proposition is fast expanding having recently launched 2 international language & currency sites (US and Germany) and a mobile site, with more digital initiatives planned for the near future.

The Online Marketing Manager reports to the Senior Ecommerce and Marketing Manager and the role covers both online and multichannel marketing activity, liaising closely with the store marketing and PR departments. In addition this role covers creation and coordination of content on all sites as well as the blog and other social networking properties.

The ideal candidate would have solid online marketing experience in a similar commercially-focused role across both UK and international markets and a strong analytical focus with regards to prioritising and planning budget and resources into the most profitable channels.
The Online Marketing Manager is responsible for maximising online sales through;

-Working with the Senior Ecommerce and Marketing Manager and team to set marketing strategy, reflecting the Brand strategy and values

-Driving acquisition marketing channels in the UK and internationally
oAffiliates, SEO, PPC, partnerships, online shopping aggregators, media buys, competitions, partnerships, social networks

-Working with the Group Ecommerce team on negotiating cross-Group marketing initiatives, setting marketing KPIs and ongoing review of our measurement and reporting.

-Working with Senior Merchandiser to create a competitive calendar of promotions and incentives

-Managing the creation and coordination of all content across UK, international sites, mobile, blog and social networking.
oMaintaining a 12 month calendar of content across all sites.
oWork closely with the online creative team to produce all marketing collateral and move forward the creative proposition to the customer
oLiaising closely with the Design and Buying teams to understand key product focus throughout the year.
oWorking with the Web Manager and Senior Merchandiser to optimise content to improve onsite conversion

-Research and analysis through online and offline surveys and other customer interactions

-Management of 2 Senior Marketing Coordinators and a Marketing Assistant and responsibility for their training and development.

-Management and reporting on the marketing budget

Candidate Requirements

•Previous management experience of online marketing within an Ecommerce team
•Comfortable with developing and driving the online marketing strategy.
•Experienced in planning and coordinating across internal departments and external suppliers
•Commercial and results-driven
•Analytical and numerate – familiarity with online analytics packages
•Excellent communication
•Team player
•Able to work under own initiative
•Adaptable and flexible to fast moving environment
•Passion for online industry
