About the role
Working in a pivotal management role as part of a progressive team in our E-Commerce community, you will be responsible for managing the digital analysts and online customer insight in respect of reporting, analytics and optimisation. You will be a champion for measurement and analysis and use analytics and data visualisation to turn complex data into compelling stories that influence change. Your experience will enable you to deliver data-driven recommendations that improve our performance and profitability and to further develop our Digital Analytics capability within new areas such as social media and mobile devices. Your insight, outstanding analytical skills and commercial focus will determine how we improve the multichannel customer journey to maximise our return. Managing a team comes naturally to you and you enjoy coaching and developing your staff to motivate them to achieve great results and creative solutions.
• Manage digital analysts to provide analysis and performance improvement recommendations across digital channels
• Manage a roadmap for analytics and optimisation across digital marketing, website content and online sales processes
• Deliver insights from a range of sources including competitor benchmarking, online customer feedback, web analytics and customer experience data

We’d like you to have a degree (or equivalent qualification/experience) in a numerical or statistical based subject and ideally have experience using either iJento, Omniture, Google Analytics or a similar website intelligence/analytics system. You’ll have a proven track record in e-Commerce, web analytics, and project management. It goes without saying that you’ll be highly organised, analytical and be able to prioritise your own workload. You’ll also have the confidence and credibility to share your ideas with senior managers and the Board, gaining their buy-in and approval of fact-based change and innovations.
