Job Description

We, at Econsultancy, are looking for a Junior Developer, mostly Ruby and Rails but you’ll also need to work with HTML, CSS, Javascript and be comfortable with the UNIX command prompt.

We're a small, talented team who offer an excellent learning environment in a lovely office right by Farringdon station, London. You’ll get to pick your weapons of choice (laptop, screen accessories) and to work on a Rails site which uses a whole range of technologies (http://econsultancy.com/uk/about/tech) to serve hundreds of thousands of visitors every month. You'll also get to work for a company that cares about it's staff, keeps sensible working hours and arranges plenty of social events throughout the year.

Candidate Requirements

You’re passionate about programming and want to learn more. You might be a graduate, you might have a few years experience, but really we’re looking for someone who can program a computer and will feel comfortable sitting down and writing Ruby code with another developer during an interview and independently once on the job.
