Marketing and Social Media Executive
Based at head office in the City of London and reporting to the Managing Director, the Marketing and Social Media Executive will play a key role in improving the company’s marketing output and also helping the company and its employees engage with the market via social media – principally LinkedIn but also Facebook and Twitter.
The company promotes itself in various ways including:
• Its own website
• Third party websites and job boards
• Paper magazine advertising
• Targeted email campaigns
The post holder will be responsible for internal liaison and to implement output which ensures a coherent and consistent message is broadcast via these media.
Internal liaison involves ensuring all activity is in line with the Board’s objectives for the company and ensuring other key stakeholders within the business are consulted and have input into the marketing strategy.
The post holder will be expected to suggest and devise new strategies to more effectively market the company to desired audiences.
The post holder will be expected to co-ordinate and implement a cohesive and definitive social media strategy for the company. This will involve pooling the existing efforts and suggesting ways of making social media a more effective method of bringing in prospective candidates and clients for the company. The post holder will be expected to contribute to the company’s LinkedIn strategy and to advise on how the company and its employees represent themselves on LinkedIn.
It is expected the post holder will operate corporate feeds for LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter and be involved in creating and editing suitable information to be broadcast on a regular basis.
Prior Experience & Qualifications
It is strongly desired that the post holder will have had previous experience of marketing and social media within a recruitment organisation and that they will be a graduate. A marketing qualification would be helpful.
